The Blue Goose
Glenn H. Johnson Construction Company recently completed the construction of the new 36,246 SF Blue Goose market in historical St. Charles, IL. The market relocated from the old location beside the Fox River as part of the downtown 1st Street development project.
The Blue Goose has the distinction of being St. Charles’ oldest family-owned retail business. The Blue Goose was opened in 1928 as a fruit and vegetable market.
The store includes a mezzanine for the office area, an elevator, monumental stair, Bomanite floor finish in the sales floor, and extensive exterior façade upgrades.
